# Onboarding

GCP Pub/Sub channel integration enables your site to send events to Google Cloud with a simple credential-based setup.

To add a channel, we need a **Google Cloud Pub/Sub Topic** and **Service Account JSON.**

### How to get a Pub/Sub Topic?

Go to [Google Cloud Console](https://console.cloud.google.com/)

Select your project

Search for the topic in the top search bar

Select **Topics(Pub/Sub)** in the list

Click on the **Create topic** button.

Give a unique **Topic ID** and create a topic

A topic will be created.

### How to create Service Account JSON?

{% embed url="<https://cloud.google.com/iam/docs/keys-create-delete>" %}

### Add Channel

To add a channel, begin by entering the channel's name. We recommend choosing a name that clearly describes the channel you are adding. This will assist with debugging if any issues arise.

Once you have entered the name, we will need to enter the **Topic** and **Service Account JSON** obtained above.
