# Onboarding

The StackAdapt channel provides an easy setup using a Universal Pixel ID. Once connected, EdgeTag will send browser pixel events and server postbacks (when a ref\_id is present in the landing URL).&#x20;

Note: The Universal Pixel ID is only required for browser-side tracking of view-through conversions; it is not needed for click-through conversions, which are implemented server-side.\ <br>

#### Add Channel

To add a channel, begin by entering the channel’s name. We recommend choosing a name that clearly describes the channel you are adding. This will assist with debugging if any issues arise.

{% hint style="info" %}
Universal Pixel ID is only required for view-through conversions. If you don’t need view-through, you can leave this field empty.
{% endhint %}

Once you have entered the name and Universal Pixel ID, click **Save & Deploy.**

Congratulations :tada:, the setup is now complete.&#x20;
