ChatGPT supports MCP servers, allowing you to connect EdgeTag directly to your conversations.

Web

1. Open chatgpt.com

2. Go to Settings > Tools & integrations

3. Click Add MCP Server

4. Enter the following:

   • Name: EdgeTag

   • URL: https://mcp.edgetag.io/sse

5. Save and start a new conversation

6. When you first use an EdgeTag tool, a browser window will open for authentication

Desktop app

MCP support in the ChatGPT desktop app requires a Pro or Business account.

1. Open the ChatGPT desktop app

2. Go to Profile > Settings

3. Enable Developer Mode / Connectors

4. Click Add source / Add connector

5. Enter the EdgeTag MCP server URL: https://mcp.edgetag.io/sse

6. ChatGPT will discover the EdgeTag tools automatically

7. Start a new conversation and your browser will open for authentication on first use

Verify the connection

In a new conversation, type:

"Show me my EdgeTag domains"

ChatGPT will use the EdgeTag tools to fetch and display your data.
