Configuration
Now that the basic onboarding is complete, let's review all fields in the form and how to use them. The Pixel ID was already filled in during the basic onboarding, so we will skip that field.

Product ID mapping
When syncing your product catalog with Snapchat, you may be using a different format than what you have in your e-commerce platform. This can result in the Item ID expected by Snapchat being different from what you're sending from your website. As a result, your catalog match rate will be low. This setting allows you to specify which property from the event you would like to send to Snapchat as your Item ID.
How can you determine which ID you are using? 1. Go to Snapchat Business Manager. 2. Click on Catalogues under Assets. 3. Select the Catalogue that you are using for the Pixel 4. Select an ID for any one of the products and compare this ID with the value in your e-commerce platform and find which type it is 5. Ensure that the type matches the setting configured in EdgeTag.
Enable browser pixel?
The browser pixel is one of the key concepts that Snapchat is prioritizing. By enabling this option, we will begin sending browser events alongside the server events that you receive automatically. We ensure that both the browser and server events share the same event ID, allowing Snapchat to deduplicate events and maximize the benefits from both sources. If you are using our browser integration or any of our apps, enabling this feature will work seamlessly. For headless applications, you will need to add our NPM package to your project to allow support—more on NPM packages.
Enable test events?
To enable sending events as test events to Snapchat, simply enable the checkbox and click on "Save & Deploy".
Once that is done, you can view test events in Snapchat. Please follow the steps below 1. Go to Events Manager in Snapchat. 2. In the left section, click on Test Events. 3. Select the Pixel you want to see the test events for. 4. Click on the view logs button (as highlighted in 2 in the image below). 5. Here, you can see all the events flowing in (as shown in the last image). You can click on one of those and look at the entire payload attached to it.
Don't forget to disable the checkbox for test events before moving to production!
