Configuration

Onboarding to the Spotify channel is simple. All you need is the Spotify Pixel ID. Now let's review all fields in the form and how to use them.

Spotify Pixel ID

This is your unique identifier from Spotify's analytics platform that enables event tracking on your website. The Pixel ID is used to configure the Spotify pixel script and associate all events from your site with your specific Spotify account. You can find your Spotify Pixel ID in your Spotify Ad Studio dashboard under the Ad Analytics Dashboard → Manage → Your Pixels section. The Pixel ID is essential for:

  • Connecting your website's events to your Spotify advertising campaigns

  • Tracking conversions and user interactions

  • Ensuring all events are properly attributed to your Spotify account

  • Enabling real-time data flow between your site and Spotify's analytics platform

This ID typically appears as a string of alphanumeric characters (e.g., a7GkP9zX3bRjQ5LdWnT0VsY2mC8EHu41) and should be kept secure as it's the primary authentication method for your Spotify integration.

Enable browser pixel?

This is checked by default, no action is required from your end. This checkbox enables browser-side pixel tracking for your website. When enabled, the Spotify pixel script will load on your site and automatically track user interactions and conversions. Browser pixels are currently the only supported tracking method for Spotify, so this option is enabled by default and cannot be disabled. The pixel will fire events directly from users' browsers to Spotify's analytics platform.
